Here is some information about some of my interests... and a few links to some of my more memorable on-line travels...
I hope you enjoy the sites as much as I have...

One of my most favorite sites is eBay because it allows me the opportunity to pamper a craving to collect pretty things :)
One of my first "loves" was for New England Amberina (hence the name neamberina), which Jerry got me interested in.
My latest worldly love, however, is for Wavecrest art glas by C.F. Monroe Co.--- which is what the picture is of. And I also have a love for Mother Of Pearl gambling chips which was made even before a lot of the art glass, but the quality seems to me to be just as beautiful and painstakingly complex.
Other interests include Cameo (Daum Nancy and Webb to name just a couple), Burmese, and Peachblow.
There are quite a few books out there about these dying arts, but there are very few sites.
So I guess you can call this rambling piece a tribute, of sorts, to eBay for allowing countless people the chance to buy those little gems and jewels that are oh so hard to find.

And yet, I must take pause and remind myself of Matthew 6:19- 21 which states: "Stop storing up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break in and steal. Rather, store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
And also John 17:3: "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ." (New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures)
So I'd also like to say: Thank You, Jehovah, for the wisdom offered in the Bible. And thank You for Your obvious shows of love... for there is beauty all around each of us-- a wave breaking on the shore, a smile from a baby, the colors in a piece of art-- but such is not truly necessary for our physical survival.
So more than anything, I want always to honor You and keep You first in my thoughts and in my deeds. For You offer a hope far greater than any of the worldly riches and far more complex than earthly beauties... You offer a hope of eternal life "where death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more..."(Revelation 21:4 NWT)

Search Engines etc.
Does God really care about us? Just read and open your heart to the answer...
Lycos One of the most visited hubs on the Internet reaching one out of every two web users.
Yahoo! Be sure to search Yahoo Groups while you're there.
Merriam-Webster Just read some of my spelling errors and you'll see why I link to an on-line dictionary :)

Favorite Sites
WatchTower The official Watchtower site of Jehovah's Witnesses
Xisti A site aimed towards women of all walks of life, religions, nationalities, political beliefs, and life-style practices.
Zoetrope Here is a free site for writers of virtually all types. Be you poet or playwrite, or novella-ist ;) this is a great place for critique and friendships...
eBay Need I say anything more LOL? eBay is the best internet auction site out there IMMHO
Recipe Source Formerly Soar.com, this site is LOADED with wonderful recipes!
Urban Legends We all know you mean well... but before you send a forward about the neighbors of a friend of a friend of your who were abducted by aliens, or the latest UPS package that wiped out a small country because it was really some well-packaged chemical bomb, please verify it first. :)
Keirsey This is the site for the famous Myers-Briggs type personality tests. The site has become a bit consumer-oriented though... they are charging for complete results which was not the case when I discovered the site last year. I highly recommend the book written by David Keirsey...
Kaua'i Other than my home state of West Virginia, this is my favorite place on the globe so far...
Hyatt-- Kaua'i THE best place I've ever stayed at. We did NOT have a reservation (well... that's a long story LOL) but they let us stay anyhow when Jerry discovered he was allergic to the place we were *supposed* to stay. We were moved 3 times over the course of our stay of approximately nine days-- but it was well worth it. I give them five stars!
